  1. A non-vote in a referendum should be counted as “Leave things as they are”
  2. All referendums to have a “Has anyone changed their minds?” follow up a week later
  3. All ballots to include “Don’t know” and “Don’t care” options. In the case of a referendum, “Don’t know” goes into the “leave things alone” pile and “Don’t care” goes towards a random option or candidate.
  4. USB drive that self destructs after a certain amount of data has been transferred
  5. Filter to remove annoying lens flare from films
  6. Near future. The entire population of the world is slightly stupider, turns out it’s because a portion of everyones brains is being used as part of a secret super computer network, linked by everyones implant phones
  7. A bird that spies on people and takes notes with a notepad and pen
  8. Groove goggles
  9. Bring back pink custard
  10. Pollycopter: Helicopter that looks like a parrot
